Aloe Cottage

Sleeps four people in two bedrooms en-suite; one with double bed and second bedroom small with twin beds. Honeyguide Cottage

Group Facility

Double storey building; upgraded in 2017 with additional bathrooms, 2 bedrooms downstairs, 5 bedrooms upstairs, fireplace in sitting room, dining area, braai outside, equipped kitchen. Suitable for university, hiking, school groups. Sleeps total of 30 people. Minimum fee applies for whole building. Not a party place.

Ntshitshi cottage

A rustic , charming self-catering, ethnic design and crafted wood furnished garden cottage next to Guineafowl cottage and sleeping six people in three bedrooms; one with double bed, one with twin beds and another bedroom with twin beds accessed from the outside porch. Set in an indigenous garden with Ntshitshi trees after which it is named, near a small stream that attracts a multitude of mountain birds, 19 of which are endemic to the Sani Pass area. Lounge, fully equipped kitchenette with gas stove, fridge, crockery, cutlery, bathroom with toilet, shower and handbasin. All bedding and bath towels are provided. Free farm milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, shower gel, hand soap and hand lotion provided. Guests have access to the large braai area at the main lodge. There is no braai directly in front of this cottage owing to the proximity to thatched cottages nearby.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
