Ou Rietdak is a farmhouse offering accommodation in Stanford on the Paardenberg Farm in Stanford. The accommodation is a mere two hour drive from Cape Town and the hosts decided to share the joy and beauty of living on a farm with you.

Self Catering Accommodation

Ou Rietdak is a self catering holiday home in Stanford with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. A cot is available.

The family room has two single beds and a bunk bed. The remaining bedrooms both have two single beds. A King-sized bed can be added on request. One of the bathrooms has a bath and shower, the other has a shower. A hairdryer is provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and includes a built in braai, ironing facilities, a dishwasher and washing machine. The living area has a TV and DStv (satellite channels) available on request. Cleaning can be done on request.

Additional Facilities

Outside is a braai under the old oak tree.

Activities

Guests can swim in the swimming pool (1 December to 31 March). There are sprawling open spaces for hiking and mountain biking. Birdwatching is also popular and a bird guide will be available.
