About Oak Lane Cottages
Surrounded by oak trees Oak Lane Cottages offer accommodation in Elgin, in seven fully equipped farm cottages, each with their own indoor fireplace, garden and braai area and three overnight rooms. Our cottages on the farm, Kromme Rivier in the Elgin Valley, offers friends and family an affordable, convenient and refreshing country break.
Accommodation
The kitchens are fully equipped for self catering with gas ovens, microwaves, toasters, kettles and fridges. All crockery, cutlery and glassware are supplied. Bedrooms all have cotton linen and towels.
Oak Lane Cottages have braai facilities outside each cottage and there is a small play area for children with swings and a jungle gym.

Additional Services
Stocking of Fridge
We can pre stock your fridge before you check in. Once your booking has been finalized, you have the option to have your fridge pre stocked by filling in a form we send upon booking.
Breakfast Baskets
We offer breakfast baskets on request at an additional cost per person. Baskets include fresh croissants, jams, cheese, butter, cold meat and yoghurt all locally sourced from our Elgin Valley. Breakfast baskets will be hand delivered every morning at 08h30.
Picnic Baskets
Oak Lane Cottages has beautiful spots for picnics. We offer picnic baskets at an additional cost per person that includes a variety of snacks and a bottle of wine all locally sourced in our Elgin Valley.
Location & Experiences
The scenic towns of Greyton, Hermanus, Stanford, Villiersdorp and Caledon are all within easy driving distance of the farm, as are the coastal towns of Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, Pringle Bay and Rooi Els.
Activities on the farm include mountain biking on our own trails (Lebanon Mtb Trails) which start and end at the cottages, jogging, hiking, bird watching, and swimming.

THE HARD PART OF THE JOURNEY WAS THE POT HOLES INTHE ROAD WE WERE BLESSED TO HAVE FRANK AND PRINCESS THERE TO BE OF ASSISTANCE WHEN NEEDED OAK LANE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE TWO LOVELY NATURED PEOPLE THE GRASS AROUND THE COTTAGE COULD HAVE BEEN CUT OUTSIDE BOTH COTTAGES FELT SAFE ON THE FARM
