Mountain View Studio is a spacious (100 m2) one bedroom apartment in Somerset West with stunning views of the mountains and surrounding countryside. The bedroom is beautifully furnished with a Queen-size bed and the bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin, There is a sleeper couch in the living area for two children. The living area has air conditioning, a TV with DStv, Netflix, Disney and Showmax, high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable seating and a dining table. The kitchenette is well equipped and includes crockery and cutlery, microwave, small oven/hot plate combo. Outside is a patio with a table, a Weber braai, and secure parking for two vehicles with a private entrance. Guests have access to a pool area with prior arrangements. Housekeeping and linen/towel changes are performed weekly and more if required. Laundry facilities are available, and we currently have no load-shedding, with an inverter and batteries on standby in case of emergency. The apartment is in an upmarket, quiet area of Somerset West, with easy access to Stellenbosch, Cape Town Airport, golf courses, Strand Beach, restaurants, wine estates and shopping centres.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
