Polokwane / Pietersburg Route:
• Proceed along the N1 (Ben Schoeman) highway to Pretoria and take the eastern bypass (N3) which becomes the Pietersburg (N1) highway
• At the Kranzkop tollgate continue straight toward Pietersburg (N1)
• As you drive into Pietersburg you will stop at the first traffic intersection, turn left
• Follow the signs indicating Dendron / Mogwadi R521 and it will take you around the city centre and out towards Dendron / Mogwadi
• Continue straight on the R521 passing Dendron / Mogwadi and Vivo towards Alldays
• As you drive into Alldays you turn right at a t-junction and immediately left again
• Drive through Alldays towards Swartwater R572
• Turn left at the first sign indicating Tolwe onto the gravel, about 100m before this turn we also have a Mogalakwena tourism sign indicating Mogalakwena River Lodge, Research Centre and Craft Village
• Approximately 27km further you will see a sign indicating Mogalakwena River Lodge where you turn right to the lodge gate entrance (if you reach the bridge crossing over the Mogalakwena River you have driven past the entrance!)
• Once you have entered through the gate take the road marked Mogalakwena River Lodge to your left and follow the road down to the River Lodge
• Total distance from Johannesburg International 480km
• Petrol available at Dendron (Mogwadi), Vivo and Alldays

Waterberg / Tolwe Route:
• Proceed along the Ben Schoeman highway to Pretoria and take the eastern bypass (N3) which becomes the Pietersburg (N1) highway
• At the Kranzkop tollgate shortly before Nylstroom, keep to the left and take the off ramp to Nylstroom, which is situated 10km further
• Follow the road through Nylstroom towards Vaalwater, which is 60km further
• As you enter Vaalwater there is a garage on your left and approximately 250m past the garage there is a turnoff to Melkrivier to the right, which is 50km further
• At Melkrivier, which consists of the name only, there is T-junction, turn left and follow the road for 10km up to another T-junction indicating Marken to the left. Make a left to Marken which is 36km further
• At Marken turn left at the T-junction, drive past the school and church on the left and approximately 250m further there is a turnoff to the right, signposted Baltimore
• At Baltimore you repeat Marken – turn left at the T-junction, you then pass a school on the left and approximately 250m further, turn right at the sign indicating Tolwe
• Approximately 38km further there is a turnoff to the right indicating Tolwe where you make a right
• Having turned right you travel for 2km on tar with Tolwe on you right, continue straight onto the gravel
• Proceed for approximately 37km to an intersection indicating Alldays to the right. Turn right and soon you will cross the mighty Mogalakwena River!
• Approximately 250m after the bridge you will see the sign to the lodge on your left
• Once you have entered through the gate take the second road to your left and follow the road down to the River Lodge
• Total distance – 450km
• Petrol available at – Vaalwater, Marken, Tolwe
