About Mawusi Bush Lodge

Mawusi Bush Lodge is on one of the few properties in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate which has huge Leadwood, Maroela and Knobthorn trees making it exceptional. There are various species of trees, such as impala lilies and aloes, that can be found near to the lodge.

Accommodation

Each room at Mawusi Bush Lodge provides guest with high quality linen, bath and hand towels, wash and shower gel. There is also a guest lounge and dining area for guests to make use of.

Rhino Room:
The Rhino Room has a Queen-size bed, pedestals, dressing table and a chair. There is also plenty of cupboard space. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower, toilet and vanity slab with a cupboard and a hand basin. The spacious room is furnished in vintage colonial style furniture with Persian rugs. It leads onto the open patio and braai area.

Leopard Room:
The Leopard Room has a Queen-size bed, pedestals, dressing table, chair and plenty of cupboard space. This room is fully disabled friendly. The en-suite bathroom has a role in shower with both normal and adjustable hand showers. A seat with a grab bar is provided. There is a raised toilet with grab bars and the hand basin complies with the requirements for a wheelchair to pass underneath.

The spacious room is furnished with a contemporary colonial style furniture with Persian rugs. The room has it's own bar fridge, a microwave oven, kettle, cutlery and crockery are available on request. This room has a perfect view over the African bush, swimming pool and sun deck and leads to the open patio and braai.

Pangolin Room:
The Pangolin Room has a Queen-size bed, pedestals, dressing table, chair and plenty of cupboard space. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower, toilet and vanity slab with a cupboard and hand basin. The spacious room is furnished in a contemporary colonial style furniture with Persian rugs. It leads onto the open patio and braai area. The room has it's own bar fridge, a microwave oven, kettle, cutlery and crockery are available on request.

Dining

There is a shared fully equipped kitchen that consists of a four-plate electric stove with an oven, microwave and a fridge / freezer. A traditional English breakfast or a vegetarian breakfast can be made upon request.
