Makuleke Camp is a Mpumalanga game lodge providing a wildlife experience for tourists visiting Greater Kruger National Park.
Makuleke Camp is located at the EcoTraining’s Kruger National Park Camp which is situated in the Makuleke concession. The camp is located between the Limpopo and Luvuvhu Rivers. This is a true wilderness area, steeped in history and situated in the remotest part of Kruger in one of the most biologically diverse areas.
Guests at Makuleke Camp will be accommodated in comfortable thatched, tented units placed on wooden decks in the shade of large nyala trees. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom consisting of a shower, washbasin with hot running water and a flush toilet and also has a veranda.
The tents are set in a semi-circle, facing outwards to give each room the best view possible. There are also pathways in between the tents that are used by a variety of animals, including a couple of resident bull elephants.
The communal area consists of a thatch-roofed open sided deck where all meals and relaxation take place. A clearing for evening camp fires creates an idyllic setting for social and leisure time.
Guests will be provided with breakfast and dinner. Tea, Coffee and Cordials are also complimentary.
Guests will be provided with two wildlife activities during their stay. The activity could consist of a drive and a walk depending on the weather and preference of the guests.
