JOHANNESBURG past Magaliesberg - R24 Krugersdorp/Rustenburg Road
Take Malibongwe Road
Take the Krugersdorp Hi-way before Lanseria - Left
Follow hi-way to Robot - N14 – Ventersdorp – Turn right
Follow N14 to T-Junction – Turn right
Don’t turn at 1st & 2nd Magalies/Rustenburg turn-off’s, this will take you right thru Magalies, carry on straight on the R563 Hekpoort road
Travel across the mountain for approx. 15-20km
Once you over the 1st mountain and see the Magalies in the distance, look out for a chicken farm to the left, with white feeding towers.
Next road turn left, there is no directional board or sign that reads Rustenburg or Magalies, just few lodging boards, but one brown board specifically reads – Magalies Manor – Turn Left here
Follow this road, this goes past Bekker schools and Lovers Rock will be on the right at the end and t-junction.
R24 – Turn right - Rustenburg road - Follow this road approx. 30-40 min.
Magalies mountain range will be on the right, follow road till the Olifantsnek Dam comes up on the right.
Pass the petrol station at Olifanstnek and follow windy road that becomes 2 lanes both ways
Follow approx. 3km after Olinfanstsnek Dam, look to the left for Hunters Rest.
Entrance is 2 white walls, sign of Hunters Rest is a light box with orange lettering.
