Flamingo House 21 has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The open plan en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, twin basins and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Two further bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and share a full bathroom. The fifth room is furnished with two three-quarter beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The main open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher in the separate scullery. The dining table seats 8 guests and the comfortable lounge has a smart TV with Netflix and DStv. There is also a bar area with built in braai. There is also a kitchenette downstairs and a lounge area with a TV and entertainment area with a pizza oven. The upper level balcony has ocean views, a built in braai, outdoor dining table and a Jacuzzi. (guests will have to notify establishment if they will be using it and it will be charged at an additional daily rate).

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
