Bon Rouge @ Oak Lane offers accommodation in Elgin that is ideal for a family break away. Being on the farm, Kromme Rivier in the Elgin Valley, means you can enjoy a refreshing country break while still having a number of activities to enjoy.

Self Catering Accommodation

Bon Rouge @ Oak Lane is a self-catering Holiday Cottage in Elgin that comfortably sleep a family or group of up to 4 people.

This first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet and basin.

The open plan living area has seating around a fireplace, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave and gas stove / oven, toaster, kettle , glassware, crockery and cutlery.

Outside there is a garden area with braai facilities. The farm has a small play area for children with swings and a jungle gym. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Additional Services

Stocking of Fridge:
We can pre stock your fridge before you check in. Once your booking has been finalized, you have the option to have your fridge pre stocked by filling in a form we send upon booking.

Breakfast Baskets:
We offer breakfast baskets on request at an additional cost per person. Baskets include fresh croissants, jams, cheese, butter, cold meat and yoghurt all locally sourced from our Elgin Valley. Breakfast baskets will be hand delivered every morning at 08h30.

Picnic Baskets:
Oak Lane Cottages has beautiful spots for picnics. We offer picnic baskets at an additional cost per person that includes a variety of snacks and a bottle of wine all locally sourced in our Elgin Valley.

Location & Experiences

The scenic towns of Greyton, Hermanus, Stanford, Villiersdorp and Caledon are all within easy driving distance of the farm, as are the coastal towns of Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, Pringle Bay and Rooi Els.

Activities on the farm include mountain biking on our own trails (Lebanon Mtb Trails) which start and end at the cottages, jogging, hiking, bird watching, and swimming.
