Ramsgate is a quaint seaside village on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, situated about four kilometres south of Margate. Ramsgate is located on the mouth of a river known by the Zulu name Bilanhlolo ("the marvellous boiler") for the bubbles caused by strong currents making it look like the water is boiling. From Durban
From Durban take the N2 south. Once you have passed through the Oribi Toll Plaza drive for another 25km until you get to a set of traffic lights. Turn right to Ramsgate, pass the farm stall and the crocodile farm. Bellevue Guest Lodge is situated at the top of the hill on the left, opposite Pistol Saloon on the corner before the Oatlands turnoff.
