About Poenskop Beach
Poenskop beach lies to the north of Port St Johns and is one of the most isolated beaches on the Wild Coast.
As you make your way to Poenskop, a few huts will be passed en route, but there is really nothing out here except "Afria"! Fishing off the rocks on the south side of the river produce good Garrick and Kob catches.
To get there, take the Ferry Point road and travel until the road ends.
