Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Nelspruit, White River to Kruger National Park
Our exclusive wildlife experiences are all about providing personalised and friendly service of the highest standard. When we say personalised we really mean it! We will not combine your overnight safari with another group whether you are two people or ten.

Departure from Hazyview / White River / Nelspruit MQP airport: Time of pick-up at guest request. Ex Johannesburg transfers arranged.

After welcoming you on board our comfortable and well-equipped open Land Rover, we’ll make our way to the southern section of the Kruger. This region is known for its herds of elephants and buffalo; is home to the king of the jungle and of course wherever lion prides are, game such as antelope, zebra and giraffe abound.

Along the way, our guide's incredible knowledge of the bush and its inhabitants will enthral and entertain you, and if you're in need of refreshments, mineral water and fruit juice is provided at no extra charge. We keep in contact with other open safari vehicles via 2-way radios, enabling communication of the best wildlife sightings.

As the afternoon cools down, keep your eyes open... this is when predators like lions, leopards and hyenas start their day!

With evening drawing closer we head to camp for a relaxing evening recounting experiences whilst listening to the laugh of a hyena, or the roar of a lion.

Overnight: Kruger National Park en-suite thatched rondavel (chalet) or family cottage / guest house

Day 2: Safari camp to Kruger National Park
The animals get off to an early start, so we do too! Coffee / tea before boarding the vehicle to search for night predators still active. After a stop for breakfast we continue on safari, perhaps we will see the graceful Cheetah who hunts during the day or a leopard lounging in the folk of a tree, the possibilities are endless.

Time to leave this world renowned wildlife sanctuary - It is true that a visit to rural Africa is like a step back in time, where nature rules and mankind is but a spectator.

Arrival back in Hazyview around 12 noon or if you don't have to rush back, drop-off is at 4 PM - at NO extra cost!

Thabo and I had such a wonderful experience at Kruger. In fact, every morning was a new adventure, the park filled with opportunities for new sightings to witness the animal kingdom in all its beauty.

Our safari guide was probably the highlight of our experience, patient with our request to find the most unusual animals, from rare birds to the pride of the land. He was also very kind, generous, funny, and knowledgeable.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Regents experience, it was like no other, and I appreciated the individualized care we received -- it made for an epic experience!!

We enjoyed two great days in Kruger Park with a guided Safari tour. Kruger Park is most amazing wildlife park. Elephants crossing your way, a lion lying 20 meters next to the vehicle, various animals, big and small in their natural Habitat. Awesome!

We booked two full day Safari Tours with Regent Safaris, owner-operated by John and Ann Evans. Good cars, experienced, knowledgeable staff and well organized - fully recommended.

Do not use a rental car in Kruger as you will not see as many animals as with a guided Safari because in safari vehicles you sit higher up for a better view, you have the genuine Safari Feeling (compared to a compact size rental car) and our guide spotted animals with ease which we would not have identified ourselves.

Overnight: Optional - contact Ann for a quote on 2+ night safaris
