The magic of Africa in a day!

The Pilanesberg Safari is an authentic African adventure in malaria free Big 5 country. It is close enough to Johannesburg and Pretoria for a day’s excursion, yet far enough to experience the unique African rhythm.
The 2 1/2 hour scenic journey gently transports you from 'city life' to the African Bush. A stop-over at a market, complete with African style bartering for that inexpensive gift, will linger in your memory.
A sumptuous lunch is served at a private lodge overlooking the waterhole. Together with a professional game ranger you will venture into the park where you will experience the African bush and its inhabitants preparing for the long night ahead.
The park is situated on the remains of an extinct volcanic crater, said to be one of only three alkaline volcanoes in the world. It provides diverse biomes, giving a beautiful home to more than 44 species of mammals, including the Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo and Leopard. One of the most interesting aspects of this reserve is that it brings together the desert antelopes such as Springbok, Oryx, Tsessebe and Hartebeest alongside Impala, Kudu, Nyala and Bush Buck. In addition over 300 bird species call the Pilanesberg National Park their home.

As you reflect on the experiences of the day, we will safely transport you back to your hotel.
