For people interested in the Boer-Zulu war and history, Gingindlovu is quite interesting. But, it is not a tourist town and does not cater to visitors wanting to be kept busy.

Gingindlovu has to be one of the most boring towns I've ever been to. Firstly, the town is not so clean, there aren't many interesting shops besides Spar and all the shops are on a single side only. There's nothing much which is of interest ands it bored me to death. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends as a holiday destination.
