When you need to Book the Entertainment: You have to have good entertainment, what’s a wedding with no good music? You have to keep your guests entertained and make sure they are happy at all times. It is good entertainment of the wedding that your guests are going to remember weeks after it has ended. The entertainment of your wedding has to be booked early, because if you leave it till the last minute you just might not be able to find anything suitable and then you’ll be stuck with a boring wedding. The ideal time to book the entertainment would be 12-18 months before the wedding day. This is a long time but you have to do it, for example, if you are having a live band playing, they probably have a very tight schedule so you have to make sure they will be available for your big day.

When you find the appropriate company to perform, you should ask them to see their performance. They should either offer to perform for you or give you a video to watch, but if they tell you they are playing at a wedding sometime soon and you can come and have a look at their performance, you should give them a miss. Imagine if some stranger came to your wedding to see your band perform? You wouldn’t like that! That just shows you that they are not very professional and you do not want to do business with them!

Make sure the band is able to play the certain type of music you like, and when you are asking them for an example of what they can do, tell them you want to see them play the music they will play at your wedding. This will allow you to make up your mind about having them perform at your wedding.

Before you settle with a company, be sure to ask around if there is any company that can be recommended. If a band has been in the industry for a long time and has performed at as many weddings as they say they have, they will have a good reputation and when you go into a wedding store to ask for recommendations, they should be able to give you the company’s name.

Once you have found the perfect company, make sure you tell them the exact date you will need them. They will be constantly busy and the last thing you want is to be told that they are unavailable for your wedding day. That will be a disaster, and it happens, so don’t think it won’t happen to you. All you have to do is search for the right company and book them long before your wedding day and you should have no entertainment problem.
