Maree of Natural Light Photography offers affordable wedding photography packages, as she believes that every couple should have beautifull photos to celebrate and remember their most special day.
Starting out photographing children and families, I gradually got into the wedding photography industry over the last two years. I would describe myself as a professional amateur photographer, making a living by doing what I love. Not a day goes by that I am not taking pictures, even if it is just for fun.
When photographing a wedding I try to capture the unique feel of the wedding, not subscribing to any fixed recipe. But rather going with the flow of your day, ensuring that every detail and special moment is recorded. I try and capture the enfolding of the event and the movement and feel of your wedding day as it is happening.
I am used to photographing babies and children, so I know that you sometimes have only one shot at getting the perfect picture. I feel it is essential to find a balance between portraits or formal photos and the more private and spontaneous ones. With my calm and relaxed style I try and blend into the background to ensure I get all those unguarded and special moments.
It is such a privelage to be included in someone’s wedding day and a true blessing to witness such an event. I never take it for granted to be able to work in such a happy and fun environment. I only use Nikon digital equipment and also edit the photos myself. You will get a mix of color, black & white as well as some more creatively edited photos.
There are different packages to choose from and you are welcome to discuss your needs and budget with me to make up a unique package that will suit you. You can book me for anything between 2 and 8 hours. Furthermore you can choose between a Classic black-paged album with a number of A5 enlargements or Coffee Table albums in a variety of sizes.
With all packages you receive 3 x High-Resolution CD’s with a minimum of 200 photos on it. You can then do some more reprints and also email to your friends and family.
Maree is available for weddings anywhere in the Western Cape. Maree is based in Riebeek Kasteel (Swartland), about 40 minutes from Cape Town’s centre, but can travel to wherever you need her.
