Digby Owen and Richard Marsh are the award winning photographers at digby owen photography & video. Between them they have over twenty years experience and many awards in the wedding photography industry.
Wedding photography is their absolute passion, if not they wouldn’t be doing this every weekend! Their friendly casual style of photography bring out the best of their couples and ensure classic, natural, spontaneous , original and unique fun filled photos with as little posing as possible. They will help you throughout the entire photo shoot with ideas and their ability to spot a photo goes a long way to creating the most beautiful and memorable photographs for your album, and although they have many ideas of their own they always welcome your ideas and suggestions.
They guide you through your special day making it stress free so you can just sit back and relax while they handle everything for you, from organizing the group photographs to advise on when and where you should throw the garter, cut the cake or even start your opening dance. This may be your first wedding but they have been involved in over 300 so please feel free to ask for their advice on things like what time you should have the church service in winter, what’s the best time for summer photographs, how much time should we leave between the church and the reception, should we bring props, who joins us on the photo shoot etc.
Nick, Craig and Estiaan make up the video department. They are young, vibrant and full of enthusiasm. Once again they aim to capture your day while staying out your faces. Extra lighting is only used when absolutely necessary to keep the atmosphere of your reception at its best. Feel free to discuss the way you want your end product to look as they are super keen to please and will take your wants and needs and turn them into a high quality DVD of superior quality.
We offer one and two camera shoots, the choice is purely yours! One is more affordable but two are with out a doubt more sophisticated, so if you have that little bit of extra budget it will be money well spent!
