The Highland Rose Bed & Breakfast can be found in the enchanting village of Dullstroom on the Mpumalanga Highveld. The house is set in a magnificent formal garden, complete with water features, a koi pond, indigenous birds and a resident family of peacocks. ACCOMMODATIONThe accommodation consists of 3 cottages and a spacious family suite. All rooms have their own bathroom, covered parking, full DSTV, a refrigerator, heating, electric blankets and facilities for making tea and coffee. Hawthorne Cottage Hawthorne Cottage is a house in its own right. It has a queen size bed situated on a beautiful mezzanine floor which overlooks the downstairs area. This comprises a small kitchen, the bathroom and a spacious lounge, whose focal point is a large open fireplace. Rose Cottage Rose Cottage is a cosy room with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom. Bramble Cottage Bramble Cottage has two large twin beds, with en suite bathroom. The lounge area has a wood-burning fireplace. Fountain View Fountain View is located in the main house. It comprises a large double room, a separate room with two single beds, a spacious bathroom and another toilet with washbasin. BREAKFASTGuests share their travelling experiences while enjoying a traditional English breakfast seated around the large table in our farmhouse-style kitchen. Our rates include the full English breakfast. NOTEWe have no facilities suitable for children younger than 6 years of age. ACTIVITIESBring your mountain bike, fishing tackle, hiking boots or simply just relax. Some of the Country's most spectacular attractions are, but a leisurely drive away: Birds of Prey Centre Pilgrim’s Rest Long Tom Pass God's Window Blyde River Canyon, to name just a few Or just "chill out" in the Dullstroom paradise by strolling around the charming shops and art galleries.
