Napthali Lodge offers our guests a personalized stay in a quiet peaceful healing environment. All rooms are graded four stars except the Cedar room, and have en-suite bathrooms, the rooms have sliding doors that open onto a deck with glass balustrades, and have beautiful views of False Bay and beaches below Napthali. If you just want to relax on the lounge chairs on the deck and enjoy your coffee or glass of wine soaking up the peaceful environment you are more that welcome, or maybe you would like an Osteopathic, Naturopathic, Homoeopathic treatment for your sore back or stressed out muscles of the neck from host Dr Rob Mclean and then relax in the Jacuzzi enjoying views of Black Mountain and the Cape finest Fynbos. AccommodationAccommodation at Napthali is made up six rooms. The lower level is our Cedar Room; this room is a very large room, with its own entrance and has a separate shower, kitchenette and lounge. The Cedar Room can be furnished with three single beds. The views are the same as the rest of Napthali. The lower deck level has three bedrooms graded four stars, and can be rented as a complete unit. The unit comprises three bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and dining room. The south of the house has a 12 seater table with braai facilities. Our Oregon bedroom can be rented individually and it has twin extra long beds with an en-suite bath in it. The Oregon Room is a large room with a lounge chair to relax; just pull back the curtains and enjoy the views of Boulders Beach, Glencain, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg. Down the passage we have our Oak Room furnished in old English Oak; this room offers the guest twin extra long beds with an en-suite shower. Yvonne is your host and she has put a complimentary liquor or wine in your room along with the hand painted tea /coffee set for you to settle in with. The third room on the lower deck level is our Honeymoon suite called the Imbuya Room. It is furnished in Imbuya wood, and the suite consists of a main queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with bath and separate sit down shower, separate kitchenette lounge and dining room. This room leads into our Jacuzzi room and garden and out the sliding door into the braai area. All three rooms have a huge deck and one can lounge on the deck chairs provided. We have a twelve seater table for those early morning meals or evening dinners. The upper level has two four star bedrooms, large lounge with north facing sea views, dining room and open plan kitchen and a second lounge facing lounge with mountain views. The Rose room has an old fashioned queen size bed and the en-suite bathroom has a bath. The Rose room is also a favorite for honeymooners as it is on the side of the house which is very quiet and private. The Agapantha Room is furnished with twin beds and en-suite shower. Yvonne has put a complimentary tea / coffee and wine in all our rooms, just pull back the curtain and enjoy the beautiful sea views. LocationSimon's Town is our nearest village town with lots to do and see with shops aplenty and very reasonably priced restaurants. Napthali Lodge is centrally situated, being only 50 minutes from the airport and Cape Town CBD, 15kms from Cape Point and the nature reserve. The reserve has the largest collection of indigenous plants found in South Africa. Napthali is only 20 minutes from Chapman's Peak and Hout Bay, and 15kms from Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. Activities and AttractionsNapthali has lots to offer the sporting guest; there is a golf course only 700 metres away, as well as fishing, scuba diving and hiking trails. The Argus Cycle Tour route passes the house. Dr. Rob can offer the guest a treatment week starting with a Colon cleansing with all diets included for as long as you want to stay, or perhaps you would like to learn how to massage in the week you will be here.
