Enjoy the experience of a sophisticated individually designed white Mediterranean house. Arches open to inside and outside flow of sunlight and bright spaces. Unique artwork adorns the high walls, echoing tones and texture. It is situated in a tranquil residential area overlooking the majestic Drakenstein Mountains and Paarl’s green valley and town. Located off the Main Road, which is lined with splendid mature trees and architectural buildings. Explore the quaint gift shops and boutiques, art galleries and nearby restaurants, surrounded by famous vineyards. Wine tasting is a must.

Guests are welcome to enjoy our beautiful secluded gardens and sunbathe on loungers around our very large sparkling pool, surrounded by vines, roses, lemons and lavenders. Appreciate the spectacular mountain views and valley below. Taste local wines and cheeses on patios with tables and chairs looking at the spectacular sunsets.

Accommodation

Individually decorated luxury comfortable en-suite bedrooms, with air conditioning, ceiling fans in summer, heating and electric blankets in winter. Rooms are equipped with tea trays, fridges, hairdryers, quality toiletries, soft bathroom towels and pool towels (on request). Beds are made with crisp white percale bed linen. A personal safe, TV, Wifi and fresh flowers compliment the rooms. Doors lead to the individual patios with table and chairs and to the large swimming pool in a secluded garden.

Breakfast

Our delicious full breakfast consists of homemade muesli and cereals, fresh local fruit tastefully prepared, yoghurts, selection of fruit juices, fresh filter coffee and specialty teas, mixed bread baskets and muffins and home made preserves, followed by a choice of bacon, local farm eggs (prepared to guests choice) or platters of cheese and cold meats. Daily specials are offered.

Breakfasts are served in the colourful dining area displaying local art overlooking pool, gardens and mountains. The well stocked bar with African flavour opens out to the large patio surrounded by herbs and flowers where coffee and drinks can be savoured throughout the day.

The beautiful old town of Paarl boasts many renowned exclusive and celebrated restaurants; Grand Roche, Noops, Terra Mare, Marc’s, boasting local and international flavours. There are also steak houses in town. Bookings can be arranged.

The Paarl Language Monument is situated on the mountain below Paarl Rock. Admire the view of this important part of Paarl and South African history.

Paarl has two famous golf courses, Boschenmeer with its 27 holes and luxury club house surrounded by magnificent views and Pearl Valley which hosts the SA Open. Booking can be arranged.

Wine tasting is a must in Paarl, being central to the production of famous South African wines. Fairview, KWV, Seidleberg, and many more, have restaurants and delicatessens. Bring back a bottle, relax in the evening on the patio and enjoy the sunset.
