The Buther's Steakhouse: A steak house with a difference, a large menu and superb hand picked wines to suit every ones tastes. This restaurant offers the best steaks and ambiance in the Winelands; customers are invited to select their personalised matured cut from the grill and see it being prepared to their liking. Fully air-conditioned, with fireplaces adding to the cosy ambiance in the cooler months. ‘The Butchers Beef Club’ is for the customers who order and finish the larger piece of meats. Next time those members visit us; they will have a personalised steak knife and VIP parking. Café Cuba Café Cuba is a trendy Cigar and Tapas bar, and offers a great start and end to an evening with a variety of cocktails, cigars and tapas. Cosy evenings by the log burning fireplaces, leather sofas and old world furnishings enhance your experience in Cuba. The menu is easy, light with a range of finger - tapas meals and some delectable desserts. Maroc: This restaurant offers its customers a different evening out, dining under tents, Moroccan music, traditional Moroccan cuisine with a performance from an oriental dancer. The food has influences from Moroccan cities such as Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat and Fez, and is prepared by our Moroccan chef. The cuisine is simple; the brilliance lies in the unique and secret blend of herbs and spices. A seasonal restaurant, open from Mid- September – Mid March. Swimming Pool Scents of Roses, Lavender and Rosemary bushes make for a wonderfully relaxing time lazing by the swimming pool, basking in the Paarl sun. Guest Lounge A beautifully restored lounge with comfortable seating, lends itself to entertaining friends or relaxing. The room is spacious and sunny with a wonderful view onto the Paarl Rock. Business Centre & Conferences Our light, spacious and air-conditioned conference room seats up to 200 delegates, and is ideal for strategic sessions with a wide variety of styles to suite your needs. The conference room divides into smaller rooms, and is fully air-conditioned for the delegates comfort. Excellent meals and tea breaks are provided with attention to special dietary requirements. We offer a basic venue with all the necessary items, then you hire all the additional items and we put everything together for you. Our in-house florist will take care of all the décor, flowers and fine details. Our chefs shall prepare you a mouth watering set menu or buffet and even your wedding cake. The waiters will make sure you want for nothing, and that everything runs smoothly. Wines can be selected from our hand picked wine list, or you may bring your own. When all is said and done, you can be whisked away to your honey moon suite which is specially prepared for you. Activities & Attractions Paarl has numerous activities to offer, from hiking, biking to horseback riding and hot air ballooning. Paarl has numerous wine farms for tours and tasting, coupled with a light lunch and KWV offers a unique tour of the cellars, wine and brandy tasting. Paarl boasts 2-world renowned Golf Courses, the 18-hole Pearl Valley and 36-hole Boschenmeer. Take a vigorous hike through the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve, climb the rock or mountain bike around the numerous trails. From the top you have the most picturesque landscape. Take a walk to the Taal monument; this was erected in the plight for freedom and rights of the Cape Afrikaners and Colonialists, who was actively involved in the Anglo-Boer War. Take a walk down Main Road, one of the longest in South Africa, you will be surprised at all the quaint shops offering a variety of items, many home made. Paarl also boasts a large shopping Mall.
