In addition, Scarborough's beach-break is a world famous surf spot with the most consistent wind and waves in the country for surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing.

ACCOMMODATION:

Cape Point Lodge is comfortably furnished, rustic and unique in design. Bamboo floors and wooden windows framing picture-perfect views invite light and warmth into this homely accomodation. The lodge offers three double bed-rooms; a large open plan lounge dining area; an organic yellow wood and cedar kitchen fully equipped for self catering; and a reed-walled bathroom with Victorian bath.

The main spacious bedroom on the upper level has a double bed and boasts a stunning sea view. Doors open out onto a wrap around balcony where you can enjoy your sunset sundowners. The second bedroom upstairs is cosy, sunny and light. It has a double bed and also opens out on to the balcony. Down the spiral staircase is the third bedroom - generous in size, comfortably cool, with two single beds, an irresistable couch, study area and a private bathroom with shower.

There is a washing machine for your laundry.

The wind sheltered sun deck is ideal for meals out of doors; and you can use the private indigenous garden for your barbeques.
