Full laundry facilities. Secure parking for one vehicle and street parking. The AreaVermont is a primarily residential area, with a mix of full-time and weekend residents. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive to town. Shopping center 2 km away can supply most of your needs, with additional shopping in town. Excellent sand beach in Onrus, 2 km away. Additional beaches within a 15-minute drive. Hermanus itself is one of the most favoured destinations in the Western Cape. Just 75 minutes on easy roads from Cape Town airport, the town is rightfully listed in the book "1000 Places to See Before You Die". The town is famous for its champagne air, for the 13-kilometer long cliff walk along the oceanfront, for its fabulous coastline, for great beaches, for its fascinating flora and fauna and for the world’s best whale watching. The Hermanus Golf Club (open to the public most days) is one of the best in the Western Cape. World-famous Arabella is under 30 minutes away. The Hemel-en-Aarde valley and wine region and the Fernkloof Nature Reserve are a few minutes away. You can get almost everywhere in the Western Cape, including Cape Town, on a day basis.
