The century-long struggle for land in the Frontier Country in the Eastern Cape has always been overlooked, despite its instrumental role in shaping the rest of South Africa’s heritage. This is according to a man who should know: Tour Guide of the Year 2005 and winner of the 2006 SA Tourism Grand Prix Welcome Award, Alan Weyer, renowned raconteur, comedian and former pineapple farmer who now offers his Spirits of the Past Historical Day Tours to visitors to Grahamstown and the Frontier Region. (Weyer is contracted to No 7 Worcester Street Luxury Guest House offering talks to their guests on request.) ACCREDITATIONS
