An al fresco dining area specializing in gourmet braai (barbeque) and potjie (cooking pot placed on coals) evenings, E’lapa is the exciting new addition to the trio of restaurants at the lodge.
Linked to the Sports Bar, E’lapa is meant for casual and relaxed gatherings, with the added benefit of sport watching when ‘the game’ is on.
Gather around the fire and order whichever meat dishes are about to hit the grill – which are accompanied by a selection of salads, vegetables, potatoes and other delicious side dishes. If you haven’t tried a potjie in South Africa, grab the chance! Food is slow-cooked in a huge back pot over coals for hours, producing the most unforgettable stew you will ever have tried in your life!
