DESCRIPTION:

Murray and Irene offer guests a warm personal welcome to their lovely unique home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning Sabie River Gorge.

Accommodation


The luxury, spacious guest suites are set around the gardens. Each with en-suite shower / bath and a lounge area equipped with television, tea and coffee making facilities and safe facilities are available. There are private entrances and safe parking.

The details of our suites are as follows:
Zebra is our Honeymoon /luxury suite
Lion is a double or family suite
Hippo is a double or family suite
Cheetah is a double or family suite
Rhino is a double suite.
Giraffe is a twin bedded suite
Off Suite is a twin bedded room with a private bathroom.

Facilities


There is a small resident’s bar in the dining room. A sparkling swimming pool, loungers and towels available for guests use at any time, for sunlight or moonlight swimming! We have Christian values and hospitality and children are most welcome.

Breakfast & Dining


Sumptuous breakfasts are served by the pool or in the cozy dining room complete with a fireplace for the cold winter nights! We offer a home cooked evening meal, on request.

Location


Sabie itself is a very friendly, attractive small town with a wealth of history. Sabie Townhouse is within walking distance of central Sabie, with a selection of shops and a very good choice of restaurants.

Kruger National Park
Depart early with a packed breakfast to enjoy en-route! Arrive at Phabeni Gate and spend the day, hunting for the Big 5.Your guide will prepare and serve lunch.

Panorama Route
Includes visits to magnificent waterfalls, the wondrous God’s Window - which on a clear day - you can almost see forever! There is also the stunning Three Rondavels in the Blyde River Canyon - and much more!

Mpumalanga Meander
Travel towards Lydenburg along the historic Long Tom Pass. Also, visits to a bird of prey sanctuary and the Sudwala Caves.

Endangered Species Re-habs
Visit to two re-hab centres where you will see some endangered species and learn of the efforts being made for their survival.

Kruger National Park
Another full day in the Kruger Park! We will travel through the Park to the Hippo Pools where you may get very close to hippo - with a game guard, in attendance - for your safety.

We can also collect guests from KMIA or OR Tambo Airport and provide a customised tour to reflect the individual wishes. Our Tours are guided by our own qualified and registered guide.

DIRECTIONS:

From Johannesburg / Pretoria:
Take either the N12 or the N4 to Witbank. At Witbank the N12 and N4 join to become the N4 which is a highway. At BELFAST turn left off the N4 into the town and at the Toyota Garage, turn right onto the R540 towards Dullstroom and Lydenburg. Dullstroom is a pleasant place to break your journey and take refreshments. When you reach the town of LYDENBURG turn right onto the R37 which takes you over the spectacular Long Tom Pass into Sabie. Once in Sabie , take direction Graskop R532 , Power Street is the last road on the right side before crossing the Sabie River Bridge. One street before Power Street you will cross a four way stop with The Loggerhead Restaurant on your left side. The Sabie Town House is at the very end of Power Street which is a cul-de -sac , Yes you can park on the grass !! Note: From Johannesburg Airport, take the road signed BOKSBURG - this will put you directly onto the highway N12/N4 towards Witbank.
