Our approach at La Roca Guesthouse is warm and welcoming and the quality of our service ensures that guests individual needs are catered for and their privacy respected. Only 2 minutes drive from the centre of Nelspruit, La Roca is the ideal base for business or pleasure. The Kruger National Park, with its spectacular game viewing; Blyde River Canyon - the third largest in the world; and the quaint historic town of Pilgrims Rest can all be visited in a day trip and Nelspruit also makes an ideal gateway for exploring Swaziland and Mozambique. ACCOMMODATIONOur 4 standard rooms and our 5 luxury suites in particular have been individually decorated, each with its own unique character. They all have private entrances and either a private balcony or patio. Our luxury suites have separate bath and shower, while the standard rooms have shower only. All rooms are stylishly appointed and fully equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, mini-bar; satellite-TV; tea and coffee making facilities and telephones. Bath, hand and pool towels, body wash and shampoo are also provided. DININGTuck into our sumptuous breakfast in the serene environment of our thatched lapa, surrounded by the sound of birds and mountain views. Delicious daily cooked specials and a large buffet of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, juice, bread and muffins - a perfect start to any day! Homemade dinners are available by prior arrangement (Monday to Thursday only). FACILITIESCome and enjoy a refreshing splash in our large pool which is surrounded by impressive granite rocks and lush palm trees. The pool terrace enjoys magnificent views of the Nature Reserve and mountains over which the sun sets - a great spot to kick back with a relaxing sundowner from the fully licensed pool-bar. La Roca is set in a lush sub-tropical garden strewn with huge granite boulders and there are plenty of interesting nooks and crannies to discover for some privacy or quiet-time. There is an enchanting area for log-fires or for group braais (BBQs) in the garden, or you can braai by the pool if you dont want to walk too far to the bar! CONFERENCESWith secure parking for 9 vehicles on site, a thatched lapa area and indoor dining room, La Roca makes an ideal venue for small informal conferences, seminars or training sessions for up to 15 people. SERVICESArrangements can be made for airport transfers, car hire, restaurant bookings, activities in the region and a babysitter. Laundry service available on site. |

DIRECTIONS: From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport Option 1: Leaving the Airport, turn right at the T-junction towards White River. Continue following signs for White River and the R40. When you reach the R40, turn left towards Nelspruit Continue for about 15Km and TURN LEFT at the first set of traffic lights AFTER the N4 junction (the Town Lodge is on your right hand side) into Piet Retief St. Continue straight on Piet Retief St. over 2 sets of traffic lights, a small roundabout and a stop street. Immediately after the crossing the stop street, TURN RIGHT at the first street (Van Wijk St.) there is a sign for La Roca on your left. Continue straight up the hill in Van Wijk St., go straight at the small roundabout and La Roca Guesthouse is about 100m on your right (# 56) look out for pale yellow walls with orange pillars and 3 green gates. From N4 West (Pretoria / Johannesburg) Heading into Nelspruit on the N4, turn right onto the R40 towards Barberton. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Piet Retief St. (the Town Lodge is on your right hand side). Continue straight on Piet Retief St. over 2 sets of traffic lights, a small roundabout and a stop street. Immediately after the crossing the stop street, TURN RIGHT at the first street (Van Wijk St.) there is a sign for La Roca on your left. Continue straight up the hill in Van Wijk St., go straight at the small roundabout and La Roca Guesthouse is about 100m on your right (# 56) look out for pale yellow walls with orange pillars and 3 green gates. From N4 East (Malelane / Mozambique) Heading into Nelspruit on the N4 highway, pass through the traffic lights with Mr. Price Home on the left. Continue on the N4 staying in the left hand lane which splits into Bell St. At the top of Bell St. TURN LEFT at the traffic lights when ABSA Square is in front of you. At the next set of traffic lights, TURN RIGHT into Russel St. and continue up Russel St. until you reach a traffic circle. At the circle, TURN LEFT into Mosterd St. At the stop street, continue straight on and then TURN RIGHT at the first street (Van Wijk St.) there is a sign for La Roca on your left. Continue straight up the hill in Van Wijk St., go straight at the small roundabout and La Roca Guesthouse is about 100m on your right (# 56) look out for pale yellow walls with orange pillars and 3 green gates. From R40 South (Barberton / Swaziland) Heading into Nelspruit on the R40, pass the Medi Clinic, and TURN RIGHT at the traffic lights with the Road Lodge on your left and Sonpark Shopping Centre on your right (OHagans Pub is prominent). This is Piet Retief St.. Continue straight on Piet Retief St. over 2 sets of traffic lights, a small roundabout and a stop street. Immediately after the crossing the stop street, TURN RIGHT at the first street (Van Wijk St.) there is a sign for La Roca on your left. Continue straight up the hill in Van Wijk St., go straight at the small roundabout and La Roca Guesthouse is about 100m on your right (# 56) look out for pale yellow walls with orange pillars and 3 green gates. From R40 North (Hazyview / White River) Heading into Nelspruit on the R40 from White River continue for about 20Km and TURN LEFT at the first set of traffic lights AFTER the N4 junction (the Town Lodge is on your right hand side) into Piet Retief St. Continue straight on Piet Retief St. over 2 sets of traffic lights, a small roundabout and a stop street. Immediately after the crossing the stop street, TURN RIGHT at the first street (Van Wijk St.) there is a sign for La Roca on your left.
