This is a unique tour. Visit the Cape Flats Nature Reserve on campus, where a guide will expose you to the regions endemic species called fynbos and the supporting fauna. A guide will also take you on a tour of the Mayibuye Centre (the Robben Island Archives). Listen to the fascinating history of UWC; also engage in a discussion on the demographics and the history of the people of Cape Town in particular, and South Africa in general. Visit academic departments of your choice and enjoy a light lunch at one of the university’s cafeterias.
