What is SA-Venues.com Payment Protection?
The SA-Venues.com Payment Protection Guarantee will 100% refund for cancellations if they're as a result of:
- injury / illness
- family responsibility
- transport disruption
- establishment closure
We'll refund you if you cannot reach your reserved accommodation for any of the following reasons:
You, or a close relative*, are hospitalised due to sudden illness / injury
- Where 'sudden illness' means that, at the time of booking, you did not know about, nor could have anticipated, the illness. Provide us with a doctor's certificate advising against travel, or proof of hospitalisation.
A close relative* dies
- Provide us with an official death certificate.
Your car breaks down, or there is a significant flight delay / grounding
- If your car breaks down provide us with an invoice from either a mechanic or a car-towing company. If your flight was delayed, provide us with a flight number and booking reference number.
The establishment has closed its doors
- The accommodation establishment ceases to operate during the period that coincides with your booking.
You must have submitted any refund request, and required proof, to firstname.lastname@example.org within one week of the first missed night.
Your refund will cover only the nights at the venue you could not attend, and those guests who could not attend.
The total refund depends on how much was paid to SA Venues and the accommodation establishment for the booking.
You will receive your refund to the same bank account, or credit card, used to make the reservation.
*Close relative refers to a husband, wife, child, grandchild, brother, sister, parent or grandparent.
