3 Day Hongonyi Kruger Safari is a 3 day / 2 night package tour by Themba Day Tours & Safaris

Day 1: Johannesburg or Pretoria to Hongonyi Private Game Lodge
Depart Johannesburg taking the scenic route through the Highveld travelling east to the Lowveld. Stop for a quick lunch break before arriving at Hongonyi Private Game Lodge. After settling into camp, we venture out on an exciting afternoon game drive. Returning to camp after dark, relax, have a drink and enjoy a South African dinner and overnight at this special place.

Overnight: Hongonyi Private Game Lodge in en-suite chalets

Day 2: Hongonyi Private Game Lodge
Early morning start, driving to the Kruger in an open vehicle with your guide. Enter the Kruger at Orpen gate for a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park. Enjoy a packed picnic breakfast at a picnic area. Lunch will be at one of the rest camps within the park. You will return to Hongonyi Private Game Lodge in the late afternoon after a full day of game viewing. After a refreshing swim enjoy a typical traditional bushveld dinner. If it is not a full moon get a chance to see the Southern Cross and other southern hemisphere stars in the truly clear sky.

Day 3: Hongonyi Private Game Lodge to Johannesburg or Pretoria
Awaken to the day with a bush walk and experience the thrill of encountering Africa’s wildlife on foot to the sounds and smells of the bushveld. A leisurely breakfast we make our way home via parts of the Panorama Route seeing the Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondavels and then climbing back up to the Highveld through the Drakensberg Escarpment.Arrive back in Johannesburg at about 17.00 in the afternoon
