Cape Town - Garden Route is a 11 day / 10 night package tour by South African Golf Tours

Day 1: Cape Town International Airport to Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met and handed the keys of your hired microbus & trailer. Transfer to Acorn Guest House where you will spend 3 nights on a bed & breakfast basis. After a rest and lunch (to own account) we suggest a Table Mountain tour.

Day 2: Cape Town
This morning play golf at Royal Cape Golf Club. Visit the Boulders Beach Colony of Penguins in Simonstown on your way to Cape Point. Have lunch at Two Oceans Restaurant, which has an incredible view of both the ocean and mountains. Take a ride in the funicular to see where the two oceans are said to meet.

Day 3: Cape Town
This morning play 18 holes at Erinvale Golf Estate in Somerset West, after which we suggest you travel on to Stellenbosch visiting the Spier Wine Estate. Enjoy a picnic basket lunch around the lake and do some wine tasting (to own account). Before travelling back to Cape Town, explore a few more wine farms in the area. This evening visit the famous V & A Waterfront for a meal (to own account) and to browse the markets and shops.

Day 4: Cape Town to George
Play golf this morning at Rondebosch Golf Club and after lunch transfer to George, checking in at the King George Protea Hotel where you will stay for 2 nights. Enjoy this drive which is filled with wonderful scenery (allow approx: 4hrs).

Day 5: George
Enjoy a full day tour of Oudtshoorn.

Day 6: George to Knysna
Play golf this morning at the George Country Club and after lunch transfer to the Knysna River Club where you will spend 3 nights. During this short trip enjoy the wonderful views and sight seeing options in the area.

Day 7: Knysna
Take a drive through to Plettenberg Bay (allow 25 minutes). Enroute stop and feed & touch the renowned Knysna Elephants (to own account). Optional activities: Visit the fabulously interesting Monkeyland or take the opportunity to have a close encounter with the whales/dolphins. There are also the wonderful pristine beaches to relax on. You could also play 9 holes of golf at the Goose Valley Golf Course or The Plettenberg Bay Golf Course.

Overnight: Knysna River Club

Day 8: Knysna
Play golf at Sparrebosch Country Club this morning and enjoy the many site-seeing attractions in the Knysna area. Feast on oysters or delicious seafood at Mariners Wharf and take a cruise to the famous "Heads" (to own account).

Day 9: Knysna to Kariega Game Reserve
This morning drive towards Port Elizabeth and continue on to the Kariega Game Reserve where you will spend 2 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis (allow approx: 3 hours). Enjoy a late afternoon game drive or River Cruise.

Day 10: Kariega Game Reserve
Optional visit to the famous Shamwari Game Reserve for the day (11am – 7pm) and arrive back at Kariega for dinner. At Shamwari you will see their Born Free center, their Cultural Village and after a superb lunch you will be taken on a game drive where you have the possibility of seeing all of the Big 5.

Day 11: Kariega Game Reserve to Port Elizabeth Airport
Enjoy another optional activity and late breakfast before departing for the Port Elizabeth Airport where you will deposit you vehicle and fly to either CT or JHb to connect with your flight back home.
