Package Tour - Kruger Park Luxury Tented Safari
This concession specialises in luxury walking safaris with exclusive traversing in 12,000 hectares of pristine bushveld and it is the only official wilderness concession awarded in the Kruger National Park. It comprises of environmentally sensitive areas previously unexplored, with huge diversity of both fauna and flora – an ideal setting for wilderness walking safaris in an internationally renowned big five area.

There are three camps: an organic luxury wilderness lodge – primarily for game drives, a Wilderness Luxury Tented Camp – primary walking and a ‘sleep-out’ on an elevated wooden platform for that special 'Out of Africa' experience. Night Drives - The Lodge has exclusive use of some of the Kruger National Park’s public roads for evening game drives, well after gate closing times (sunset), ensuring guests an unforgettable experience, with highly qualified guides to share their wealth of bush knowledge.
At the Wilderness Luxury Tented Camp, there are four African style-explorer tents which overlook a waterhole. At the Lodge there are eight elegant suites set on the banks of a riverbed. For an experience of a lifetime, select a package of 2 nights at the Lodge and 2 nights at the Wilderness Luxury Tented Camp.
The tariffs are per person sharing per night and are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals, cold drinks, house wine and beers, teas & coffees and safari activities at the Wilderness Luxury Tented Camp. The Lodge rates are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals, teas & coffees and safari activities, exclude all drinks.
Pick-up (optional extra) from Hazyview or Nelspruit airport to proceed towards the Kruger National Park, entering at Paul Kruger Gate. A game viewing drive for an hour or so before arriving at the luxury Lodge for check-in or to transfer to the Wilderness Luxury Tented Camp.
A typical day would be an early start after refreshments to set out on a game drive or bush walk. Game drives are conducted in specially adapted open Landcruisers with professional Guides who meet the stringent requirements of the South African Parks to ensure that your encounters with the African wilderness are exciting, informative and safe.
On returning to the Lodge or Camp, guests can enjoy a leisurely brunch and then relax around the pool which overlooks a waterhole.
In the late afternoon, after a delicious high tea, embark on an evening game drive. The Concession also has exclusive use of some of the Kruger Park roads at night and are allowed to use these roads way after the Kruger Gates have closed.
Returning later to the Lodge, a sumptious dinner is served under Tamboti trees whilst listening to the calls of the wild.
Day 2: Kruger Wilderness Concession
Day 2's itinerary is similar to that of Day 1.
The Concession is an excellent game viewing area and good sightings can be expected. Highly qualified guides share their wealth of experience - from the identification of animals, trees, insects and birds to the medicinal use of plants, folklore and basic tracking and survival skills.
Sleep Outs are only offered at the Wilderness Luxury Tented Camp and are an experience of a lifetime! Guests arrive on foot at the platform in the early evening carrying a lightweight rucksack containing a change of clothes and refreshments. After hanging up mosquito net tents, sundowners can be enjoyed on the platforms overlooking a waterhole. There are 2 bathrooms with hot showers and flushing toilets. 8 guests per Sleep Out and 2 armed guards.
Day 3: Kruger Wilderness Concession
An early morning wake-up call for refreshments before leaving on a game viewing drive or bush walk.
Return for breakfast and if the Safari ends today, check-out is at 11h00.
