Tour Description

Normally the tour starts in Somerset West (start in Cape Town is also possible). From here we take the Baden Powel Drive to Muizenberg with spectacular views over the False Bay. From there we drive along Boyes Drive to Kalk Bay. Our first stop we be at Mineral World, the biggest factory for semiprecious stones. Our next stop is the Jubilee Square in Simons Town. Here you can enjoy the view over the harbour and you will hear something about ‘Just Nuisance’, the Great Dane. One of the highlights of the tour is the penguin colony at Boulders. From here travel along the beautiful coastline to the Table Mountain Nature Reserve. Visit the old lighthouse at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, where you will have a nice picnic. Next stop is the Cape Point Ostrich Farm. On a guided tour you will learn interesting facts about these remarkable birds. The last highlight of the day tour is Chapman’s Peak Drive, a breathtaking scenic route from Noordhoek to Hout Bay. From here you will travel back to Somerset West (or to your accommodation establishment in Cape Town).
