Enjoy the candidly beautiful Kruger National Park and the splendor and hospitality of Sabi Sands Game Reserve which both lend themselves to breathtaking wildlife photographic tours. Located within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Nkorho Bush Lodge and Elephant Plains Game Lodge share an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park, allowing us the opportunity to view and photograph elusive wild animals in their natural habitat on open vehicles game drives at dawn and evening. Indulge in traditional African cuisine under clear night skies around an open fire in the ‘Boma’, and enjoy Magnificent views of the Milky Way and Southern Cross. Experience traditional bushveld charm in the outdoor showers and the rustic lounge area. Listen to the sounds of nocturnal animals whilst enjoying sumptuous international and South African cuisine around a log fire in the open aired boma.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Collect from your chosen point of departure and head for Kruger National Park. Lunch en route to the Kruger Park. Check into the Kruger Park and check into our camp for our first overnight stay. We will game drive until sunset and the camp gates close. Retire to our chalets, prepare for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Overnight: Skukuza or one of the camps within the Park

Day 2: Kruger National Park
Sunrise tea, coffee & biscuits. Our early morning game drive. A delicious breakfast at one of the camps. A mid-morning game drive. A luncheon stop and time to rest. An afternoon game drive. A sunset game drive supervised by the Park Rangers. Our own BBQ dinner served at our chalet.

Overnight: Satara or one of the camps within the Park

Day 3: Kruger National Park to Sabi Sands Game Reserve
A delicious breakfast at one of the camps.
Exit the park and head for our next overnight destination in the northern Sabi Sands, we check into our Lodge, have lunch and prepare for the ‘open vehicle’ safari game drive. During the game drive we will stop for ‘Sundowners’ and for all game views which lend themselves to photography. We return to camp and prepare for our Dinner under the stars, which is served around a camp fire in a ‘Boma’, an outdoor protected area against the elements and the wild animals. After dinner we retire for the night in anticipation of what waits for us tomorrow.

Overnight: Game Lodge in Sabi Sands Game Reserve

Day 4: Sabi Sands Game Reserve
Up at sunrise for tea, coffee & biscuits. Our early morning ‘open vehicle’ game drive. We return to the Lodge for breakfast. Relaxation time, an opportunity to review photographs, read a book, or take a massage, it is also a chance to take a walk in the wild with the game rangers. Lunch and a chance to lie around the swimming pool. We prepare for our afternoon game drive. Sundowners are part of the game drive. We return to the camp and after dinner retire for the night.

Overnight: Nkorho Bush Lodge or Elephant Plains Game lodge

Day 5: Sabi Sands Game Reserve to Johannesburg
Up at sunrise for tea, coffee 7 biscuits. Our last ‘open vehicle’ game drive. A delicious breakfast. Bid farewell to the Lodge, exit the reserve, and take photo’s of the Panorama route with it’s magnificent views. We stop for a pancake lunch on our way back to Johannesburg or the designated departure point.
