Kruger Park and Mpumalanga Safari (May 2008)
The trip was great, we just picked Pete from the internet and were not quite sure what we would get!! However, having travelled quite a bit and lived overseas we would take what ever came up.
We were pleasantly surprised, and could not recommend Pete too highly it worked out great and we basically had our own private tour guide and vehicle. Nothing was too much for Pete to handle and if you do the same trip as we did I am sure you would enjoy it.
We did take Malaria precautions but did not see any mosquitos. Pete carries repellent and bug burners anyway.

Tailor Made Tour (February 2008)
After choosing Cruiselite from the internet for an 18 day tour in August 2007 we were so impressed by our tour guide and the country, especially the game reserves that we returned in February 2008 for another 22 day Cruiselite tour. By designing our own itinerary with valued imput from Cruiselite we enjoyed every minute we spent on our trips.
To enjoy a chauffered driven tour at our pace, rather than being herded around was definately the way to visit this beautiful country. Our guide's extensive knowledge of the native animal and bird life was second to none and his ability to spot the most camouflaged animal kept us enthralled day after day.
It was great value for money and we have great pleasure in recommending Cruiselite.

We went on a tour of a lifetime to Kruger park, Drakensburg mountains, Victoria Falls and finishing for five nights in Cape Town. Our tour was tailor made as we first visited friends and family at Rustenburg and then met by Pete our guide whose knowledge of the country is second to none. The wonderfull accommadation using Guest houses as well as hotels made us feel much more in touch with this super country.
Cruiselite arranged everything for us including flight transfers etc which all went without any problems and nothing was too much trouble. For anyone looking to visit SA you will not be disappointed with this company with great value for money and fantastic local knowledge.

Without sounding OTT our Cruiselite tour was absolutely BRILLIANT from start to finish. Pete was our guide and we are friends for life now without a doubt. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I had intended to travel alone but then my sister came with me. I would have no problem recommending traveling alone on a tour with Pete. His knowledge is beyond compare, his love of wildlife apparent and infectious, he is an expert on birds (feathered variety) and was incredible at \'spotting\' animals on our fantastic safari through Kruger.
He was amazing in his knowledge of history of South Africa and stories of great interest and a vast wealth of knowledge and entertaining tales. We had the time of our lives. We found Pete reliable, honest, entertaining, value for money and without a shadow of a doubt made our trip one dreams are made of. It was my life dream to visit Africa, do a safari and more and this trip was beyond my wildest expectations.
From Johannesbury to the magnificient Drakensberg, Bourkes Luck potholes (Bad luck for poor Bourke) to Mpumalanga to our stay in the private game reserve along the way, visit to Lesedi village and the absolutely fabulous 4 days in Kruger alone will remain with me forever. I am eager to return but now almost 2 years on have not yet got back as my love of travel has brought me to other new and far flung places.
Pete, hope to see you soon again, hope to do some fishing next time around!!

I went on a month-long trip with my mom. Our tour with Cruiselite was absolutely fantastic. They are extremely professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. Pete Lees was our guide and he is very organized and accomodating. He has immense knowledge about South African history, culture, and wildlife, which made some of the car rides very enjoyable and entertaining. I learned so much from Pete and had a fabulous time chatting with him. He gave very relevant and interesting information regarding all that we saw. Pete was also very responsive in helping us create our ideal itinerary, and he gave great suggestions on how much time to spend at each place to really "see" it and how to fit in pretty much everything we wanted to see.
