Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
We’ll meet your flight at the Johannesburg International Airport from where we will drive straight to the Kruger National Park arriving at about midday. This will give us an afternoon of leisurely game drives before we check in at Skukusa, where we will spend our first night in this amazing Game Reserve. There will be time to relax with a cocktail before dinner, which will take the form of a traditional South African Braai (Barbecue). Please do not be concerned, we specialise at this sort of catering, so you will not be subjected to “burnt offerings”. The next four days will be spent game spotting, and you can expect to see lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, crocodile, hippo, giraffe, zebra, warthog, hyena, jackal and a huge assortment of antelope, including impala, kudu, waterbuck, steenbok, bushbuck, klipspringer and wildebeest. The bird life is clearly very prolific and far too numerous to mention by species
Overnight: Kruger National Park

Day 2: Kruger National Park
Today the golfers will head off to the Skukusa Golf Course while the non-golfers will enjoy a morning game drive in open game drive vehicles accompanied by armed Parks Board rangers. The golf course was built in 1972 as a recreational facility for the Skukuza personnel, and is now available for Kruger Park visitors for the first time. Here is a first for South Africa and the world - a unique opportunity for golfing enthusiasts within one of the world's greatest conservation establishments. The Skukuza Golf Course is designed for all levels of golfers. The afternoon will be at your leisure, either lounging in the shade around the pool or going on additional game drives – or both. Dinner tonight will be taken in the Camp restaurant.

Day 3: Kruger National Park
After an early morning game drive we’ll enjoy a lazy, luxurious breakfast, followed by a slow game spotting meander, which will eventually get us to the Satara Rest Camp where we will spend the night. This evening, a sunset / night drive will afford you the opportunity of seeing some of the nocturnal predators, such as leopard, hyena and lion. Tonight, as you retire, listening to the sounds of the African night you will dream of this wonderful place called Africa, knowing that you have experienced something truly special.

Day 4: Kruger National Park
We’ll start with an early morning optional game walk accompanied by two armed rangers. Although very safe there is a huge difference coming face to face with rhino, elephant etc. while on foot instead of being in the safety and comfort of a vehicle, an experience you will treasure for the rest of your life! The rest of the day will be spent on game drives that will include some really beautiful scenery. Our accommodation while in Kruger Park will be in very comfortable, clean, en-suite, thatched bungalows. The Camps that we’ll be staying at will be Skukusa and Satara.

Day 5: Kruger National Park to Drakensberg Mountains, Mpumalanga
visit to some of the watering holes on the way out will round off a perfectly splendid adventure in this most amazing Game Park. Along this panoramic route we will enjoy some really magnificent scenery, including stops at places like The Three Rondavels, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window and the spectacular Mac Mac, Berlin, Lisbon and Panorama Falls. Our accommodation tonight will be at a mountain retreat where ‘the air smells like air and the water tastes like water’.

Today we’ll be able to experience the mystique of Lesedi on our way to Sun City. Nestled in unspoiled bushveld in the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains lies this amazing cultural village, where Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi and Basotho families live in their traditional homes. Enjoy a visit steeped in folklore and ancient traditions, including some really fascinating tribal dancing. This will all be rounded off with a culturally diverse ‘buffet spectacular’ luncheon, after which we’ll have a short drive to Sun City where we’ll spend the next few days.

Day 8: Sun City
Arguably one of South Africa’s premier holiday retreats, this awesome complex is nestled in an ancient volcanic crater and includes shops, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, games arcade, casinos, swimming pools & the valley of waves. Water-skiing, para sailing, jet ski’s & tennis are some of the sporting activities available, and of course golf. While the non-golfers explore the complex or relax next to one of the many sparkling swimming pools, or on the beach at the valley of waves. The golfers will step up to the Gary Player Country Club, home to the now famous US$ 2 million Nedbank Challenge, a truly great course that will rival the best in the world.

The golfers will experience the thrill of having to watch their caddies clearing the fairways of wildlife before playing their shots at the picturesque Elephant Hills Golf Course.
