Along this panoramic route we will enjoy some really magnificent scenery, including stops at places like The Three Rondavels, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window and the spectacular Mac Mac, Berlin, Lisbon and Graskop Falls.

Ideally situated in a game rich area this unique private game reserve offers en-suite accommodation in reed and thatch tree houses, where you’ll be able to sit on your private balcony and watch the wildlife wondering by below – an unforgettable experience. As an exciting option you’ll have the opportunity of game viewing from a micro-lite aircraft (not included in your tour price).

Day 4: Timbavati Game Reserve to Kruger National Park
We’ll enter the Kruger National Park at about midday. The bird life is clearly very prolific and far too numerous to mention by specie. There’ll be time to relax with a cocktail before dinner, which will take the form of a traditional South African Braai (Barbecue) prepared by yours truly. Please do not be concerned, we specialise at this sort of catering, so you will not be subjected to "burnt offerings".
Expect to hear wonderful tales and facts about Africa, the Kruger Park and its wildlife from your guide.
Overnight: Kruger Park Camp

A visit to some of the watering holes on the way out will round off a perfectly splendid adventure in this most amazing Game Park. Your accommodation for tonight will be in a luxury 4 star hotel in Sandton, one of the premier shopping areas in South Africa.

Day 8: Sandton, Johannesburg to Johannesburg
Today we will visit Soweto (South Western Township) the political 'hotspot' of the 70's on the way to Lesedi. Nestled in unspoiled bushveld in the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains lies this amazing cultural village, where Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi and Basotho families live in their traditional homes. Enjoy a visit steeped in folklore and ancient traditions, including some really fascinating tribal dancing. This will all be rounded off with a culturally diverse 'buffet spectacular'.
Accommodation tonight will be at the AfricaSky Guesthouse, a wonderful Lodge ideally situated very close to the airport, which means you won’t be sitting in peak-hour traffic for hours on end, when you have to get your flight to Victoria Falls tomorrow

Day 9: Johannesburg to Victoria Falls
Your morning flight will arrive in Victoria Falls at midday. There are few appropriate superlatives that have not already been applied to this spectacular natural wonder of the world; in many ways it defies description. The next three days and two nights will be spent at The Zambezi Sun, a superb hotel on the banks of the magnificent Zambezi River. The entrance to the Falls is only about 200 metres from the hotel, so you’ll be able to visit the Falls as often as you like. Your tour here will include: two nights accommodation, airport transfers, a river cruise and unlimited entry to the Falls (Zambian side). Should you require additional activities (such as helicopter / microlite flights, bungee jumping, big swing etc) these can be arranged and paid for at the hotel reception.

Your midday return flight on day 11 will get you back to Johannesburg in plenty of time to connect with your afternoon flight to Cape Town. Accommodation while in Cape Town will be at a luxurious hotel, ideally situated at the now famous V&A Waterfront.

Day 12: Cape Town
While in Cape Town our guests generally prefer to have time for their own exploration, sight seeing, shopping, strolling down the beach / promenade, choosing a restaurant from the huge selection available for their favoured cuisine, or just simply ‘lounging around’. We have therefore only allowed for two full days of tours. These two days will include:
1) A scheduled full day tour day tour of the Cape winelands.
2) A full day private Peninsula tour which incorporates; The Cableway ride to the top of Table Mountain, Chapman’s Peak Drive, The Twelve Apostles, Cape Point, The Penguins at The Boulders, Sea Point and Clifton.
Other optional tours that we would be happy to arrange for you, or you could explore for yourself, could be a ‘Township’ tour, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, The Topless Bus tour, The District Six Museum and of course a boat trip to the historic Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 27 years, is always a very moving experience.
