Terms & Conditions

By paying an excess and by complying with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and subject to exceptions, the liability for damage of loss is limited as above. Failure to comply with the conditions of the rental agreement and exceptions will render the renter liable for the value of the total loss. Where damage and/or loss is caused by the renter driving the vehicle on roads not suitable for the vehicle, or the driver is drunken or intoxicated, the exception liability will apply.
Vehicles hired are to remain within the boundaries of South Africa.
Approval must be given by AroundAboutCars should the period of the rental be extended. The extension period is to be prepaid prior to commencement of said period. Insurance cover lapses if approval is not obtained.
Passport and current unendorsed drivers licence are compulsory.
Renter and authorised driver must be in possession of a valid unendorsed drivers licence. Minimum age is 18 years.
Minimum charge period is 24 hours.
Vehicles leave with an empty tank of petrol and returned empty.
Rates and conditions are subject to change without notice. Vehicles rented are subject to our standard rental agreement.
