This 8-day itinerary starting and ending in Johannesburg, includes a night at a country lodge in Mpumalanga, the scenic Panorama route, 2 nights in the Kruger Park or adjoining Private Game Reserve a night in Swaziland, 2 nights at the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi or a Private Game Reserve and a night at a beach resort. As all our itineraries are tailor-made, this tour can be extended to include the Garden Route and/or Cape Town. This tour can be arranged as a "self-drive" or "guided" itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg International Airport to Dullstroom or Blyde River Canyon, Mpumalanga Province
Arrive Johannesburg International Airport. Meet & greet by the AfriXplorer representative. Depart with guide or per rental vehicle to Dullstroom - a quaint little trout village in the Mpumalanga Province. Spend the night at a luxury Guest House/Country Lodge.
Overnight: B&B accommodation
Day 2: Dullstroom, Mpumalanga to Kruger National Park or adjoining Private Game Reserve
Continue your tour via the Blyde River Canyon, Graskop, down Kowyn's Pass and Hazyview - all forming part of the Panorama Route. Traveling along the scenic Panorama Route, stop at the Three Rondawels, Potholes, God's Window and several waterfalls. Enter the Kruger Park or one of the adjoining Private Game Reserves where you spend two nights.

Spend another day in the Kruger Park or adjoining Private Game Reserve

Day 4: Kruger Park or adjoining Private Game Lodge to Swaziland Country Hotel
Leaving after the early morning game drive and breakfast enter the Royal Kingdom of Swaziland at the Jeppe's Reef border post. Spend the night at the Forester's Arms Hotel in Mhlambanyatsi ("Watering Place of the Buffaloes") near Mbabane, the capital city of Swaziland. En-route stop at the Ngwenya glass factory.

Day 5: Swaziland to Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve or Private Game Lodge
En-route to Golela borderpost where you re-enter South Africa's KwaZulu Natal Province stop at Swazi Candles. Continue along the scenic Zululand route to Hluhluwe/Imfolozi or one of the Private Game Lodges
Overnight: Self-catering, B&B, D,B&B or full-board accommodation
Day 6: Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve or a Private Game Lodge
Spend another day in the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve or a Private Game Lodge
Overnight: Self-catering, B&B, D,B&B or full-board accommodation
Day 7: Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve or a Private Game Lodge to Shaka's Rock or Umhlanga Rocks
Continue your tour along the Dolphin Coast to the coastal resorts of Shaka's Rock or Umhlanga Rocks where you spend the night at a Guest House
Overnight: B&B accommodation
Day 8: Shaka's Rock/Umhlanga Rocks to Johannesburg
Leaving after breakfast head for the closely situated Durban Airport to board a morning or mid-day flight to Johannesburg
