The Pink Lunch in Camps Bay

Monda PR, Publicity and Events once again will paint the town pink in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness for Reach for Recovery. This year The famous Pink Lunch will be created, coordinated and hosted by Monda PR, Publicity and Events at Cape Town's The Bay Hotel - in The Rotunda where society favorites and generous corporate guests get together to enjoy an amazing day out in "Hot Pink delight!" Guests, VIP and Major Sponsors will be wearing something "Hot Pink" to mark the memory of those people who have been touch by the illness!

This year Emcee will be new to Cape Town the one and only Miss Lola Lou (Drag queen from Poland) who will welcome, entertain guests and introduced the amazing line up of musicians such as Cape Town's very own and talented James Stewart, the amazing sounds of the Charles Summerfield band, the fabulous luscious 3 Tons of Fun, the sexy Lu Chase launching her new single called Mercury, new and upcoming stars Leani Ekermans and Lucy Holgate performing a melody of famous Diva's, to add some grace and energy to the day you will see some amazing Ariel acts by well known artist Dorothy Cole.

To add to the exciting entertainment, a stunning fashion show, showing the beautiful creations in shades of pink by Fedisa School of Artistry and Make up by no other than Brushstrokes. The day will end with a very exciting auction by Ariella Kuper from Auction Alliance where we will raise those vital funds needed.

The Pink Lunch has for the past six years gone above and beyond to create awareness for Breast Cancer and raise funds for Reach for Recovery and this year will definitely be another pink success! Enough cannot be said for the work that goes into preparing an event like this but the idea that every cent raised would be going to a sister, a mother, a friend who has been touched by the illness has kept staff at Monda PR entirely devoted and motivated to make sure that The Pink Lunch 2011 is an event that would not be forgotten.

The aim of the Reach for Recovery programme is to supply practical and emotional support to breast cancer patients and their families, to enable them to make relevant personal decisions and to find the motivation for recovery with an optimal quality of life. With the help of your support for one day a year you have made a considerable difference in someone's life!
