MTB Challenge

The MTB Challenge celebrates its 11th year and is an official event of the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Lifecycle Week and part of the build-up to the annual Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour.

The MTB Challenge has grown from 700 entrants in its first year and is now considered to be one of the biggest mountain bike events of its kind in South Africa.

This event has something for everyone from novice to podium contenders and includes the whole family as the routes are able to suit each riders unique skill and fitness level. And if you prefer to relax and sample the splendid Boschendal wines instead of gripping the handlebars then book a picnic and enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the wine estate.

Routes:
Saturday Family Fun: 13 km & 29 km
Sunday MTB Challenge: 32 km, 52 km & 65 km

Venue: Boschendal Wine Estate, R310 outside Stellenbosch
