Windgat Festival 2008

When: Dates to be confirmed (Wednesday, 16 December 2009 to Monday, 21 December 2009)
Where: Pringle Bay
Categories: Annual Festivals

The Pringle Bay Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 5th annual non-profit Windgat Festival from 16-21 December 2008 in conjunction with the Hangklip-Kleinmond Tourism Bureau.

The Whale Coast is one of the Western Cape's most popular holiday destinations. The picturesque coastal towns, Rooiels, Pringle Bay, Betty's Bay and Kleinmond have an estimated 40,000 residents who spend their year-end summer season in the region. Day visitors to one of the area's most popular attractions, the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden, amount to an average of 17,500 over the same period.

The purpose of the 2008 Festival is to create greater awareness for Pringle Bay; provide quality entertainment to holiday makers and raise funds for Child Welfare, Kleinmond and KAWS (Kleinmond Animal Welfare Society).

Please Note: Dates for this event to be confirmed.
