Celebrate Heritage Day on the 24th September 2010at the 3rd annual Paternoster Heritage Festival. Enjoy a day of fun, food, sun and new experiences on the beach, in the sea and at the Paternoster Fishmarket!
The activities on the day include
Sand Castle Building
Kreef bakkie race competition
Treasure hunt for children and one for adults
Box cart race – old and young
Kayak for children
NHRI demonstration
Organised horse riding on the beach
The children’s dance event
“Bokkom skil” competition
A talent competition – Paternoster Pop Star
Local Art and Craft market – all Paternoster residents
The aim of the festival is to collect funds to be able to take the children of Paternoster to places outside of the town they’ve never left.
