This is a beautiful figure of eight route that follows the edge of Midmar Dam for most of the race. There are a few hills to make it moderately challenging and about a third of the route is on gravel through the game park. There is also a 32km and 15km route should you not want to conquer 42.2kms!

Walkers are welcome to take part in the 15km event and there is a fun run. It’s advisable to get to Midmar early to avoid congestion at the gate.
