Run in Queensburgh, this event is known as the ‘mineshaft’ because the two lap route is challenging with a big downhill followed by a continuous six kilometre climb during the second quarter of the race.

There is a 10km run in addition to the half marathon and walkers are also welcome. Pre-entries are taken at the clubhouse from midday on the day before the race and on the morning of the race from 5am. Grand masters enjoy a free entry.
