Mallards & Mercury Ski-Boat Festival in Shelly Beach

The competition has proved to be so successful that it is now one of the biggest ski-boat competitions in the country and by far the biggest angling event on the Hibiscus Coast, attracting not only +/- 400 anglers and their families from all over the country but hundreds of tourists who are attracted to the “festival” in and around a huge marquee at St. Michaels beach where the weigh-in and all the action takes place.

With a fantastic array of high quality prizes already secured we are confident we will again attract a very big entry as well as considerable spectator interest both to the weigh-in as well as all the other entertainment and festivities take place at the marquee throughout the week.

A full bar will be operating from 10h00 in the marquee throughout the week. Flea Market and stall daily. 5m Slide and jumping castles and loads more action! A full programme of entertainment will take place in and around the marquee every day, including face-painting for the kids a fish braai at the weigh-in and a DJ on the go every evening. There will be waitron service in the marquee from the restaurant and + a fast-food section. Check the Board in the marquee for the full programme of activities.
