This is a moderate to hard point to point race. A scenic and historical run that begins with about two kilometers of cross country through the graveyards of Isandlawana. After approximately three kilometers there is a sharp downhill followed by a kilometer long climb.

There is another steep climb at the 12 kilometre mark. You are rewarded with a two kilometer downhill stretch; and you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Buffalo River and the battlefields of Rorkes Drift as you go. There is another climb about 2kms before the end.

Walkers are welcome to take part in this event.
