Starting in Bergville in the Drakensberg and run largely in open country the route is point to point. The race is relatively easy but Childs Hill lies in wait between the 12km and 18km marks and this can be a test of fitness!

At the 30km mark the route turns onto a sand road and then continues on through farm and forest areas. There are some testing pulls at 45kms and the run into Ladysmith is easy and mainly downhill.

Book your accommodation in Drakenberg and make a weekend of it - Bergville is a beautiful part of the world so enjoy the spectacular scenery that will no doubt take your mind off things at hand! A good training run for those preparing for Two Oceans or Comrades.
