Around the World in the Berg Charity Golf Day

This annual event’s aim is to raise funds for the local Bergview Primary School. There are 50 under-privileged learners (Grade R – Grade 7), many of whom are orphaned due to Aids and other family circumstances.
The Drakensberg Gardens is continually driving the fundraising programme to raise funds for food, clothing and stationery as well as any other needs. The other charity that benefits from the Drakensberg Gardens is “Clouds of Hope”, an aids orphanage in Underberg. The hotel staff started a choir and released a CD in January 2009 where all proceeds are donated to this worthy cause.
So tee up on this 18-hole course at this annual Drakensberg Gardens Golf Day and raise the spirits of these little one’s for this deserving cause!
